Sidi have once again raised the bar in technology, design and beauty with the range topping Vortice Boots.

Featuring more of the same innovative technology that made Tecno adjusters for a very precise fit, and a similar strap across the bridge of the foot to restrain forward movement and reduce potential crush damage to toes. There is also a new shock absorbing heel cup which is capable of moving on its mounts slightly in a crash, further reducing forces to the heel, in addition to the usual assortment of safety features found on high-end race boots.

*Tecno Calf Tensioner, Tecno Shin Tensioner & Ankle Support System - This group of features ensures a precise fit with maximum comfort.
*The Tecno Calf Tensioner mechanism adjusts the leg circumference. Placed in the back of the boots upper, it works through a nylon wire that hooks directly into the shin plate. The Tecno Calf Tensioner is replaceable and is designed to fit around various sizes of calf muscles.
*Racing SRS Sole - This totally new feature from Sidi is constructed from a polyurethane and rubber blend. It features a removeable insert in front of the arch area where the main wear and tear would eventually occur. Another patented exclusive from Sidi!
*The composite inner sole of the Vortice resists 'side to side' compression offering greater protection compared to the leather inner soles that many of Sidi's competitors use.
*Tecno Instep Tensioner - The Vortice features an additional fastening system on the front part of the foot, on the instep. It consists of a wrap around facia which can be precision adjusted by the Tecno Instep Tensioner. This was proved critical in the rider safety, by the previous model, the Sidi Vertigo Corsa.

The Sidi Vortice is constucted of Lorica and is lined wth Teflon vented mesh. The lining in the toe area is Cambrelle, a soft yet strong lining. Only Sidi goes to the trouble (and the expense) of creating a multiple liner boot system in its racing boots.

Lorica is a composite micro-fibre material created from strands that are so fine, each one is less than one thousandth the thickness of silk. When injected with special resins, these fibres act like natural leather skin, but with the addition of better strength, softer texture, lighter weight and better moisture protection. Lorica is also highly resistant to abrasion - yet it still breathes - with more than 3 million pores per square centimeter - amazing!
